Ghana’s Kwesi Nyantakyi is contesting one of two vacant FIFA Executive Council seats but up against formidable opponents in Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) 1st Vice-President and 2nd Vice-President respectively.
Mr. Nyantakyi has passed the integrity test but can only hope for victory when the voting takes place at CAF’s office in Cairo.
He is up against 1st Vice-President, Suketu Patel and 2nd Vice-President Almamy Kabele Camara.

Ghana Football Association Vice President, George Afriyie has however charged Ghanaians to support the candidature of Mr. Afriyie as his win will be a win for Ghana adding such a victory will be a first.
