Ghana's Gideon Baah joins FC Kairat in Kazakhstan

Ghanaian player Gideon Baah has joined FC Kairat in Kazakhstan after being released by MLS side New York Red Bulls.

Gideon Baah who started off his football journey by participating in Metro TV's Soccer Academy reality show has played for Kotoko and Honka FC in Finland before joining Red Bulls in the USA.

Baah has been plucked with several injuries after making the move to Red Bulls and believes this is an opportunity for him to get back in top shape.

“This is a very good opportunity for me as a person and as a player and I hope I can make the most out of it and I hope they can make the most out of me.

“I think Kairat is one of the biggest clubs in Kazakhstan and I hope to use this opportunity wisely because to develop as a player, FC Kairat is a good place to be,” he told the club’s media at his unveiling.”
