Ghanaian international, Emmanuel Banahene, has completed a move to Egyptian premier league side Ittihad of Alexandria.

Various teams on the African continent were hoping to sign the striker but he has finally joined Ittihad.

Banahene has joined fellow Ghanaian Wilson Akakpo who joined them a few days ago and becomes sixth signing for the Alexandria-based club.

Banahene previously left Egypt after a dispute with former club Ismaily that resulted in the termination of his contract after going months without getting paid, denying any claims that he ran away.

His services will immediately be required as Ittihad currently lie in 15th place with 14 points.
