Kumasi Asante Kotoko came from behind to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 in their first of the 2017 Ghana Premier League season.
Liberty took the lead in the 35th minute through a Ben Eshun strike to end the first half in their favour.
But two penalties within the space of four minutes, 57th and 61st, converted by Yakubu Mohammed ensured the Porcupine Warriors started the season on a winning not.
