Head Coach of newly crown Premier League champions Aduana Stars Yusif Abubakar says he anticipated a tough test in their penultimate GPL clash with Elmina Sharks last Sunday.
The Dormaa side overcame an early scare from Sharks to beat them 2-1 which mathematically means they have won the League title.
"I knew from the onset it will be very tough and difficult to break into their defensive set up and even if you are able to break into,it will be difficult to take our chances because everybody was panicking".
"So I told my players they should capitalize on counter attacks". He added
Aduana's win meant they open up a seven point gap at the top of the table with a game to spare.
They will play Ashanti Gold in the last Premier League game.
