Veteran Asante Kotoko midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei says he would want to win a CAF inter-club competition with the Porcupine Warriors before he retires from football.
The experienced midfielder has enjoyed a successful spell in his stint across Africa with CAF Confederations Cup trophies and a Champions League trophy at TP Mezembe.Adjei, who re-signed for Kotoko during the transfer window believes the Kumasi-based club are capable of making a positive impact in the CAF Confederation Cup and that he eyes winning a trophy on the continent with the Porcupine Warriors.

'I'm optimistic we will get closer to the (CAF Confederations Cup) trophy, we are in good shape and we have the confidence to play, I won two CAF Confederations Cup trophies and a Champions League trophy at TP Mezembe and I want to do same now at Kotoko'. He told FOX FMÂ in Kumasi.
Asante Kotoko will depart for Ethiopia en route to Kenya today ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup match against Kariobangi Sharks on Saturday.
