Black Meteors head coach Ibrahim Tanko has implored the fans in Kumasi to rally behind the team as they face Togo in the African U-23 Championship qualifier.

The Black Meteors will host Togo on December 18, 2018, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

According to Tanko, the game was decided to be held at the Baba Yara because of the fans love and infinite support for the National team whenever they are in Kumasi.

” We chose to play the game here because of the fans. The fans in Kumasi have always supported the National team no matter what. The players always feel at home in Kumasi. I’m calling on the supporters to come and push us that Victory” He told Footballmadeinghana.com

The gaffer also declared the Black Meteors 'ready' to face Togo due to the high morale in camp.

” The morale in camp is very high. The local and foreign players are relating very well. And then on the pitch, they are jelling very well. I’m sure we will be ready by Tuesday” says Tanko.
