Defending champions, Ivory Coast will face a very tough challenge in their quest to qualify to the last eight of the Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) in Gabon as they come against Morocco in their last Group C match.

Ivory Coast, one of the favourites to win the AFCON have only managed two points in two games and third on the group table behind DR Congo(leaders) and second placed Morocco.

DR Congo have four points after beating Morocco and drawing with Ivory Coast while Morocco managed to beat Togo to secure three points.

Togo however have a point after their draw with Ivory Coast in their first game and would also fancy their chances against DR Congo as a win could send them through following the results of the other game between Ivory Coast and Morocco.

The group remains very open and Ivory Coast must ensure to win against Morocco in order to get to the next stage of the competition and possibly defend their title.

However, Morocco would be a hard nut to crack as they also have eyes on the quarter finals and displayed some excellent football against Togo.

They would be hoping to cause one of the upsets of the competition after Algeria were unable to qualify to the next stage.

Both games of Group C would be played at 7pm.
