Japan have clinched the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in France with a 3-1 victory over Spain on Friday evening.

Spain with their passing style of play dominated in possession and created goalscoring opportunities, thus, forcing Hannah Stambaugh to pull a couple of saves but did not pay off as it was the Asians who got the opener.

Hinata Miyazawa unleashed a thumping shot outside the 18-yard box to send Japan in the lead in the 38 minute.
