Ghanaian defender Jerry Akaminko has joined Turkish second-tier side Istanbulspor on a one-year deal.
Akaminko who has been without a club after cancelling his deal with Eskisehispor joined his new side on Friday, August 31, 2018.
The 30-year old defender is reported to have left the club due to poor treatment overpayment of salaries and bonuses.
The former Heart of Lions captain suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury prior to the 2014 World Cup in a warm-up game with Ghana.
Jerry Akaminko has ten caps for Ghana and has scored a goal in return.
