Egyptian giants Zamalek are interested in securing the signature of Ghanaian forward John Antwi in the winter transfer window. 


The Ghanaian striker has been performing incredibly well for his club, Misr Lel-Makkasa notably, his hat-trick against ENPPI in the Egyptian Premier League a few weeks ago.

Antwi is currently the highest scoring foreigner in the Egyptian League with 63 goals. The 26-year-old surpassed compatriot Ernest Papa Arko who was on 61 goals.

Per media reports, Zamalek are ready to offload Mohammed Ramadan and Mohammed Hassan to finance the transfer of the former Al Ahli forward.

Christian Gross, who is the head coach of Zamalek is reported to be a big admirer of the Ghanaian international and wants to have him to improve his attacking prowess
