Kevin explains decision to terminate Las Palmas deal and is expected to sign for Eintracht Frankfurt

Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed that he terminated his Las Palmas contract in order to have time for his family in Germany.

Kevin after a remarkable first season where he scored ten goals to be the Club's top scorer was rewarded with a 3-year contract.

This decision came as a shock to Las Palmas and in a news conference yesterday, the attacking midfielder explained his decision to leave.

“A very difficult day for me, it is not easy to understand and is my responsibility.”

“It’s a decision as a father, as a husband, not as a player.

“I take this decision for my family which is the most important thing.

“I’m not well being away from my family, I told the President and he understood.” He said



Reports indicate that the player has already begun talks with Bundesliga outfit  Eintracht Frankfurt and will return to the German Bundesliga after having spells with Dortmund and Schalke.
