Kevin-Prince Boateng scores as Sassuolo beat Empoli 3-1

Sassuolo have thumped Afriyie Acquah's Empoli 3-1 as Kevin-Prince Boateng found the back of the net in the Italian Serie A.

Kevin-Prince Boateng continued his superlative form in the Italian Serie A as he was on target to help his side brush aside Empoli.

Francesco Caputo gave Empoli the lead in the first minute before the Ghanaian levelled the scoreline.

Gian Marco Ferrari the 57th minute sent Sassuolo 2-1 up before Miha Zajc was sent off for receiving his second yellow card in the match.

Federico Di Francesco cushioned the lead in the 85th minute for the host which sealed the victory Sassuolo.
