Former Liberty Professional star, Latif Atta Blessing, has hinted on switching his Ghanaian nationality and play for the USA national team.
The former goal king of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League season reiterated his ambition to play for the USA when he was quizzed by a journalist about the rumour circulating in Accra."Yes, I will consider playing for the USA national team when they approach me. I have been waiting for Black Stars call-up for some time and it is not forthcoming. There are several players who have naturalised and are playing for other national teams, so this is not anything serious," he said.
The Los Angeles Football Club playmaker further revealed why he would grab an opportunity to play for the North American country if the offer comes up.

"Ghana does not take a keen interest in the welfare of former national stars; they abandon them after the players have sacrificed for the nation, but in the USA it is the direct opposite", he revealed this in an interview with Dickson Pedro Jr of Kingdom FM in Koforidua.
Latif Blessing is currently embarking on an Adidas-sponsored project to build a football pitch for the youth of his hometown, Nankese, a village in the Suhum-Kraboa-Coaltar District of Ghana.
Blessing helped Los Angeles Football Club to finish third in the Western Conference of the MLS, scoring five (5) goals out of thirty-one (31) appearances.
