Captain of the Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan, is now Ghana's all time top scorer after netting his 50th in the Stars 5:0 win over Ethiopia, in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The 30 year old skipper who scored in the 11th minute to give the Black Stars the lead, attained a legendary status with the feat, joining the likes of Hossan Hassan, Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto in the league of player to have scored 50 goals for their country.
Gyan who has played at all three world cups for Ghana, is looking forward to adding more goals and hopefully ending Ghana's 35 year trophy draught by winning the AFCON 2019 trophy.

This would undoubtedly cement his legendary status, putting him in the history books as one of the most successful captains of the Black Stars.
