Accra Hearts of Oak defeated Medeama 3-1 in a high profile friendly match played in Tarkwa on Sunday, December 16.
The encounter formed part of activities to mark the celebrations of the Amankuma Festivals and it was the Phobians, who claimed victory thanks to a brace by Selassie Bakai.
Hearts took the lead in the first half through Joseph Esso, who calmly converted a penalty.
The lead was extended by Bakai in the 75th minute, however, midfielder Justice Blay reduced the deficit for the Mauves.
With two minutes of normal time remaining, Bakai scored again to ensure Kim Grant's side left Tarkwa all smiles.
