Black Stars assistant Coach Maxwell Konadu has given the strongest hint yet that Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah could return to the Ghana National team.

Asamoah's last appearance was in the 2014 World Cup and injuries have caused the absence of the player for 3 years.

It is understood that Asamoah has asked to stay away from the national team to enable him overcome his injury situation and also help him pin down a position at Juventus.

Maxwell Konadu however believes it is still possible for the playmaker to return.

"Kwadwo has not turned his back on Ghana before, It's all about dialoguing and taking a decision that will benefit both Ghana and the player, he has been very disciplined and a very good player," he told Citi Sports.

Kwadwo Asamoah has been linked with a move to Turkish side Galatasaray after been limited to only 6 appearances for Juventus this season.
