Medeama heading to CAS after points deduction
Ghana Premier League club Medeama SC has disclosed that they are baffled by the decision of the Ghana Football Association to deduct them points over claims of fielding an unqualified player and may head to CAS to seek justice.
The GFA on Monday declared Great Olympics winners of their protest against league leaders Medeama SC in respect of their matchday 12 game played at the Akoon park in Tarkwa.
Olympics who were the away team in the said match were awarded three points and three goals with Medeama also losing three (3) points from the club’s accumulated points from previous matches.
However, Medeama in a statement has revealed that they reject the decision of the Disciplinary Committee and will fight the matter to its logical conclusion including heading to CAS.
