Medeama SC President Moses Armah Parker has debunked reports claiming the club will participate in CAF inter-club competitions this year.
Reports circulated that the Yellow & Mauve have made their interest of participation on the African terrain known to the Normalisation Committee but the club's president has rubbished such claims. The head coach of the club was reported to have said "at Medeama, we don’t have a problem be it financially or in terms of preparations. There are no problems at all. We have a good team that we won’t disgrace the people of Ghanaâ€.

However, according to the President, Medeama SC will not participate in Africa due to financial constraint.
"We are not ready to represent Ghana in any Caf competition this year so disregard the reports circulating in the media," Armah told Medeama FM.
"There is no iota of truth in those stories. We don't have the money to play Africa for now, let's all help the Normalisation Committee to put things in place after what happened to the game in this country.
"We suffered a lot in our last participation in the Caf Confederation Cup because there was no support from anywhere, so simply, put Medeama is not ready to play in Africa. We don't have the adequate funds to participate," he added.
Medeama SC qualified to the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2016.
