Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe says Mondays were like market days for him as he made money from promises of some Kotoko fans prior to games.
The player who was adjudged the top scorer and best player in the 2008 Ghana Premier League said he made a lot of money from the Club faithfuls due to his prolific nature in front of goal.
"Mondays were my market days at Kotoko, I always rush to Accra after every league game on Sunday for monies promised me". He told Asempa Fm
Bekoe was speaking in relation to Charles Taylor's assertion that Kotoko are able to make players financially sound.
