Nigeria touchdown in Kumasi with 25 players for Black Stars clash

Nigeria’s contingent have arrived in Kumasi for Friday’s FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.

In all, Twenty-five players made the trip to Ghana for the encounter.

The Super Eagles will play as guest to the Black Stars for the first leg that takes place on Friday, March 25 before welcoming Ghana to the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja four days later.

The Winner of the two legs will progress to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.

Goalkeepers: John Noble (FC Enyimba, Nigeria), Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa), Francis Uzoho (Omonia Nicosia, Cyprus).

Defenders: Ola Aina (Torino, Italy), Kenneth Omeruo (Leganes, Spain), Zaidu Sanusi (FC Porto, Portugal), William Troost Ekong (Watford, England), Sheyi Ajayi (West Bromwich Albion, England), Leon Balogun (Rangers, Scotland), Calvin Bassey (Rangers, Scotland), Shehu Abdullahi (Omonia Nicosia, Cyprus).

Midfielders: Joe Aribo (Rangers, Scotland), Innocent Bonke (Lorient, France), Frank Onyeka (Brentford, England), Peter Etebo (Watford, England), Akinkunmi Amoo ( FC Copenhagen, Denmark).

Forwards: Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal, Spain), Kelechi Iheanacho (Leicester City, England), Moses Simon (Nantes, France), Sadiq Umar (Almeria, Spain), Ahmed Musa (Fatih Karagumruk, Turkey), Victor Osimhen (Napoli, Italy), Odion Ighalo (Al Hilal, Saudi Arabia) Emmanuel Dennis (Watford, England), Ademola Lookman (Leicester City, England).
