Former Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Randy Abbey has stated that the yet-to-be-formed Normalisation Committee is expected to bring football back to normalcy.
The Government of Ghana met FIFA in Switzerland on Thursday 16, August 2018 to discuss the ways of dealing with the crisis of football in the country.
FIFA after a meeting with the government of Ghana outlined several steps to resolve the current football crisis and one of the decisions they made was to take steps to form a normalization committee to replace the GFA EXCO.

According to the former GFA spokesperson, football is the winner amongst the FIFA-Gog meeting.
"There are a lot of things that have gone wrong. But at the end of the day football should be the winner- Randy Abbey." Randy Abbey spoke on Joy FM news analysis program, NewsFile.
"We need to appreciate the structure of the FA- Randy Abbey."

The Normalisation Committee is expected to be formed soon, to replace the Executive Committee.
