German sportswear manufacturers Puma and Ghana Football Association are set to extend their partnership according to reports.

PUMA has been a technical and official partner to the nation’s football governing body since 2005, supplying playing kits, training apparel to all associate Ghana Football National Teams.

Their last contract which was renewed in 2015 expired in December 2018.

‘’We are in negotiations over a renewal. PUMA have sent a new contract to the Normalization Committee for their perusal which they’re currently doing’’ a top source is reported to have told Footy-Ghana.com.

‘’Per the existing contract, Ghana reserved the right to have indicated a decision not to renew in six months prior to its expiration if they had wanted to so that is not the case. A renewal is imminent.’’ The source further noted.

PrimeNewsGhana understands that the deal could be extended by another five years, ending December 2024.
