An Aleksander Kolarov's free-kick was enough to hand Serbia a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica in a Group E game in Russia 2018.
The two sides needed a good start to the tournament and it was Serbia that got all three points.
 After the first half of limited opportunities for both, Serbia took full advantage in the second half.
Captain of the side Kolarov curled in a free kick of the highest quality over the Costa Rican wall to find the top corner of the post to make it 1-0 in the 56th minute.

Costa Rica pushed hard for the equalizer but the Serbians stood their grounds and collected all three points.
