Sanford Women's FA Cup quarter finals set for Saturday

Police Ladies are the current champions of the Women's FA Cup

The Women's League Board has confirmed Saturday, August 12, 2017, for the quarter finals of the Sanford Women's FA Cup.

This was made known by Roselyn Amo, the Vice Chairperson of the League Board, at a press Conference at the  Ghana Football Association Secretariat.

According to the Board, some modifications had been made in the schedules, as part of efforts to promote the competition and to have more fans attending the matches. they include playing two matches at the same venue at different times.

On Saturday, holders Police Ladies will play Army Ladies at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park at 12:00 pm after which Immigration Ladies will take on Elmina Sea Lions at the same venue to complete the Southern Zone matches.

In the Northern Zone, Prison Ladies will play Afia Kobi Ladies at the Sunyani Coronation Park, whiles Afia Ampem Darko Ladies battle with Real Upper Ladies at Techiman.

The Semi final stage of the Sanford Women FA Cup is scheduled for September 23, with the final slated for October 21, 2017, at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
