Former Asante Kotoko talisman, Sadick Adams has disclosed that his former trainer, Steve Pollack lured him to sign for the club.

In an interview with Ashh FM in Kumasi, the 28-year old revealed that he felt insulted with the money offered to him by the Opoku Nti-led administration when he first wanted to play for the Porcupine Warriors before his move to Cyprus.

"I rejected the first offer from Kotoko when I came to Ghana from Saudi Arabia because it was the worse offer I had ever seen in my career from Opoku Nti"

"I requested for GHC 80,000 but Kotoko offered me GHC 30,000 and airtime... I felt insulted by the offer so I joined a team in Cyprus"

"I wanted to join Kotoko but their offer was not good for me so I went to Cyprus and I was paid $3,000 a month"

"Many teams were after me when I returned from Saudi Arabia...Hearts of Oak accepted to pay the money(GHC 80,000gh)I requested from Kotoko but I wanted to move outside the Country", the striker added.

Adams also made revelations that he was persuaded to join Kotoko by Steve Pollack because of his relationship with the gaffer from Berekum Chelsea

"Pollack convinced me to join Kotoko when I returned from Cyprus so I accepted 80,000gh for 1 season to play for Kotoko"

Sadick Adams joined Asante Kotoko in the 2016/2017 league season after an unsuccessful spell in Cyprus and became the club's top scorer with 10 goals in all competitions during that season, including a hat-trick that won the Kumasi-based club the MTN FA Cup at the expense of arch-rivals Hearts of Oak.

The former Ghana U17 star was tagged as the main person behind a group of players who allegedly planned a mutiny against former coach Paa Kwesi Fabin after he opted to use several youngsters ahead of them- a report which the former Atletico Madrid forward fiercely rubbished.
