Ghana international Rabiu Mohammed has parted ways with cash strapped Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 29-year-old midfielder joined Anzhi for a second spell in the summer after penning a three and a half year deal with the club but he is departing after just six months.
Anzhi Makhachkala have been faced with financial constraints and have been struggling to keep up with some of their key players.
In a letter written to the club's CEOÂ Absalutdin Agaragimov, Rabiu is demanding the full payment of his salary.
''There is no Vladislav Kulik yet. Mohammed Rabiu has also not joined the team. He wrote a letter of withdraw his services from the club", Anzhi Makhachkala CEO Absalutdin Agaragimov confirmed.
"He wants to terminate the agreement with "Anji" in connection with non-payment of salary".
''We will not hold it. The only thing - Rabiu wants at once is the entire salary.
''We will not be able to pay at once, only in parts from the money that will come to us from the RPL.''
