The National Sports Authority (NSA) has on Tuesday, inaugurated two new sporting associations to add up to the already existing 38 associations in Ghana.

They are, the Mixed Martial Arts Association as well as the Armed Wrestling Association while two more associations are expected to be added later.

According to Mr. Joshua Mensah of the NSA, it is the obligation of the outfit to allow the formation of more associations despite the already existing 38.

He therefore asked them to ensure they win laurels for the country while creating regional and district associations to develop the sport across the country.

The NSA he said, would be compelled to withdraw their certificates if they fail to achieve the goals and objectives with which they were formed.

Heads of the associations pledged that they would not rely on government for support but will win laurels for the country.
