Black Satellites head coach Jimmy Cobblah is elated his outfit listened to his tactical instructions and they performed justice to it.

The Black Satellites opened their Group B match with a convincing 2-0 win over the young Stallions in the ongoing 2019 U-20 AFCON in Niger.

WAFA Striker Daniel Agbloe Lomotey scored a brace on the day. He broke the deadlock against the run of play with a well-taken strike after he lobbied the ball over Burkina Faso.

The WAFA protege secured the points for the Black Satellites with a stylish finish on the 78th minute with a neat close-range effort to make sure they ease past the spirited Burkinabes.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah in his post-match interview said that the Black Satellites faced a stern test from the young Stallions but his tactical acumen outwitted his opponent.

"The match was difficult because the Burkinabes were playing a different kind of football and we were also playing a different kind of football."

''They believed in long passes and we like possessing the ball, they were physical than us, so they tried to bully us.''

"This is the first time I have played a match with my full team we have been training with them, it was a difficult match but my tactics worked on the day."

Coach Jimmy Cobblah and his charges will take on Senegal on Wednesday, February 6 at 3:30 pm at Stade De Maradi.
