The male U-23 national team, Black Meteors held their first training in Kumasi African U-23 Championship qualifier against Togo.


The team, which was based in Prampram, arrived in Kumasi yesterday and held their first training session at the Baba Yara stadium.

Coach Ibrahim Tanko and his assistant Micheal Osei took the team, which consist of eighteen players and two goalkeepers, through an intensive and rigours training session.

The team will have a double session today and Monday at the same venue before facing off their Togolese counterparts on Tuesday.

The Black Meteors will host Togo on December 18, 2018, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi and the second leg in Lomé four days later.
