The Black Satellites will be sent packing from this year’s WAFU Cup in Togo today should they lose to perennial rivals Nigeria in a final Group B match.

The Ghana U-20 succumbed to group leaders Niger by a lone goal in the group opener over the weekend.

However, Niger have already booked their passage to the knockout rounds of the tournament.

The other semifinal ticket will be between rivals Ghana and  Nigeria after Benin Republic pulled out of the competition.

Coach Jimmy Cobblah and his charges need a win to go through, but they face a difficult task against a Nigerian side, whose poor finishing could only hold group leaders Niger to a scoreless draw at the weekend.

Both teams are using this competition to gauge their readiness for the 2019 U-20 AFCON in Niger in February 2019.
