Madrid win second straight Super Cup

Real Madrid have won their second straight  Super cup after beating Manchester United 2-1 in Macedonia.

The highly anticipated game started without current world best player Cristiano Ronaldo who was left on the bench by Madrid Coach Zinedine Zidane.

Real Madrid took the lead in the 24th minute through midfielder Casemiro.

Madrid continued to dominate play from there with United chasing shadows.The first half ended 1-0 in Madrid's favour.

The second half followed the same pattern and Isco doubled Madrid's lead in the 52nd minute.

Romelu Lukaku gave United a life line in the 62nd minute after missing a sitter.

United came in strong in the last ten minute of the game with Zidane introducing Ronaldo to see out the game.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will take some positives from the game as United face West Ham on Sunday in an English Premier League opener.
