Communications Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo has rubbished claims that they illegally signed Dominic Eshun from Karela United.

The Phobians announced the arrival of the highly rated winger on a long-term contract on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.

However, the club the Nzema based club revealed that they have not reached agreement with Hearts of Oak for the services of Eshun and threatened to reports the capital-based club to FIFA.

But Opare in an interview on Asempa FM in Accra insisted they did no wrong in confirming the arrival of Dominic Eshun from Karela United.

"Hearts Of Oak have not stolen any player from Karela Utd," he said.

"Per the documentation available to us and the player's words, he is not under contract.

"Hearts of Oak did due diligence before going in for the player.

"You can't hold the club responsible for doing the right thing."

Opare also reiterated that football administrator should expect the resumption of the Ghana Premier League in August.

"Per the pace at which we are moving, I believe football will be played in a synchronized manner in August 2019," he concluded.
