HP online store error allowed buyers to order expensive laptops for cheap

HP has apologised after an error on its website let shoppers buy expensive laptop computers for less than £2.

One device was listed with a previous sale price of £2,378, but was "reduced" to £1.58. The computer firm briefly took its UK store offline on Saturday to resolve the error, and said it would not honour the sales that had been made.

Drug lord detained in Paraguay turns jail cell into luxury suite (Photos)

Police in Paraguay raided a drug lord's prison cell, only to find he was living a life of luxury.

In the three-room cell, they found a conference room, plasma screen television, library and kitchen. The interior of the cell, which was occupied by Brazilian drug lord Jarvis Chimenes Pavao, has now been destroyed, media in Paraguay report.

Russian military helicopter with 5 on board downed in Idlib

A Russian military helicopter carrying five people was shot down in the north of Syria’s rebel-held Idlib province on Monday, the Russian defence ministry said. Russian air forces are supporting President Bashar al-Assad in Syria’s five-year-old civil war.
