Anthony J. Danner, 55, 2415 W. Antoinette St., faces two Class 4 felony counts of sex with an animal, carrying a sentencing range of one to three years in prison. If Danner is convicted, the court may also order that he must relinquish any household animals and cannot live in a home with pets.

Danner was indicted then arrested Tuesday following a months-long investigation by the Peoria Police Department.

The indictment alleges that Danner engaged in a sex act with a female husky named Velvet and male malamute named Wolf between March 1 and March 17 of this year.

Danner's criminal history includes only minor traffic offenses and seven citations for failure to vaccinate pets for rabies.

Danner was being held Thursday at the Peoria County Jail on $35,000 bond according to pjstar.com.
