Disqualified presidential candidate and founder of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga has said that the actions and decisions of Mrs Charlotte in the just ended special voting exercise clearly shows her “inexperience and incompetence” in heading the Electoral Commission.

"I was the first person to warn that the Electoral Commissioner was inexperienced but Ghanaians never listened to me. When I say things, they don’t listen but it will always come and affect them in future.’’

Mr. Hassan Ayariga emphasized that the commissioner instead of concentrating on her core mandate, she is rather engaging herself with "unnecessary things".

"This woman; instead of busy doing her job, she was busy disqualifying political leaders who are supposed to encourage multi-party democracy. Instead of looking at what was necessary, she was busy looking at what was not necessary…This woman I know her very well, she is a friend and I know her very well. She cannot do the job. I don’t hate her, I hate her duties. How can you make so many mistakes and still be at post…Common special voting you [Charlotte Osei] cannot manage it…How can you manage the general polls with over 15 million voters?’’

In a radio interview, Mr.Hassan Ayariga appealed to the President to contract the immediate past commissioner, Kwadwo Afari Gyan to give Charlotte Osei tutorials on how to run the affairs as a commissioner.
Mr. Ayariga added that the EC chairperson is a dictator, arrogant and lack respect that is why the other commissioners have failed to assist her because of her dictatorship, arrogance and lack of respect. ‘’This woman has no experience and arrogant. She doesn’t listen and that  is her problem.’’

The challenges that characterized the special voting exercise according to Mr Ayariga suggests what Ghanaians will see on December 7, 2016.

"She’s done it the first time, it didn’t work, she’s done it the second time, it didn’t go well, what are we thinking of? I just pray that on 7th December, she will be able to it right, at least. If Ghanaians had listened to me the very day I said this woman was not qualified, all these challenges would not have occurred".
