Housing Security Personel in Ghana is government’s priority - Ambrose Dery

Member of Parliament for Nandom Constituency and Minister-designate for Interior, Ambrose Dery, has echoed the NPP-led government’s commitment to introduce of the National Barracks Regeneration Programme to help advance accommodation for the National Security services in the country.

Addressing the Appointments Committee of Parliament today January 21 2017, Hon. Ambrose Dery stated that, housing for security personnel in Ghana “is one of the priority areas” of the NPP government.

“We have stated in our manifesto that there will be a National Barracks Regeneration Programme and a public-private partnership (PPP) arrangement is one of the options. …The investment could come through the PPP arrangements but we will do that with the consciousness for value for money and ensure that the country gets the best deal when it comes to this,” he emphasized
