NDC leader, Dramani Mahama has pooh poohed the NPP’s claim that despite their fierce loyalty, the Mahama led regime has neglected the region in terms of developmental packages.

The president who is bidding for a second term, observed, the opposition’s machinations has failed daring the elephant party to render an account of the developmental projects they offered the people.

H.E. Mahama who concluded his tour of Northern Volta had visited Tsito, Kpetoe, Adaklo and related areas.

The chiefs submitted their wish list they would want addressed including the extension of water to their areas.

President Mahama informed them the water system or network at Kpeve is being extended to the Ho West District to serve the people.

He told the electorates road projects executed in the region alone amounted to 1.5 billion cedis calling on the people to disregard the cheap talk of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) functionaries, labelling their neglect assertions as “Alakpa” (lies).

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate also mentioned that water supply is being extended from the Sogakope station to Adidome.

Some estimates suggest water provision in the region has improved from 39% in 2009 to 70% in 2016.
