The vice presidential candidate of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Ms. Brigitte Dzogbenuku, has counselled Ghanaians, especially parents, to ponder on the future of their wards carefully before casting their ballots come December 7.

Campaigning with some party executives at Nyanyano in the Gomoa East Constituency, she said the PPP is the only political party which is eager to make their wards benefit from the Free Compulsory Universal Basic Education (FCUBE), as enshrined in the 1992 constitution of Ghana and as such all must put in efforts to elect Dr. Papa Kwesi Nduom as the next president of Ghana.

“The future of Ghana will be on the shoulders of the children we see today. That is why Dr. Nduom has said that he is going to make basic education free and compulsory for them”.

She thus charged the electorates to make sure they vote for PPP in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.

According to Ms Dzogbenuku, the PPP’s Parliamentary Candidate for Gomoa East Constituency, Eunice Asumeng, will restore Nyanyano to its lost glory since it is one of the oldest towns in the Gomoa East Constituency and also provide vocational training centres for young natives in the constituency learn some trade.
