Emmanuel Adebayor and Togo suffered the heaviest defeat so far in the AFCON as they were trashed 3-1 by Morocco in their second Group C match on Friday.

The result sets up a grueling last round of matches in the group as any of the four teams could qualify to the next stage of the competition.

It also puts pressure on the defending champions Ivory Coast who were held to a 2-2 draw by group leaders DR Congo.

Currently, DR Congo occupy the top spot with four points, followed by Morocco with three points while Ivory Coast are third on two points and Togo at the bottom with just a point.

It therefore keeps the group open as the results of the last group matches would determine the two teams to make it to the next stage.

Ivory Coast faces great danger of early exit as they come against Morocco who seems to have found their rhythm as they were impressive against Togo.
