President Nana Akufo Addo has appointed two new Deputy Chief Executive Officers for the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) to start work officially on March 1, 2022.

In a letter dated January 13, 2022, the Office of the President announced the appointment of Mr Perry Okudzeto and Mrs Linda Asante to the position of Deputy Chief Executives respectively of the National Petroleum Authority.

“In line with the constitutional requirements governing such appointments, the Governing Board at its 29th Ordinary Board Meeting held on 15th February 2022 confirmed the appointment of Mr Perry Okudzeto and Mrs Linda Asante to the position of Deputy Chief Executives of the National Petroleum Authority.

“Mr. Perry Okudzeto and Mrs. Linda Asante's appointment as Deputy Chief Executives of the National Petroleum Authority will be effective 1st March 2022,” the letter announced.

 The NPA is the foremost state agency tasked to regulate the petroleum downstream industry in Ghana.

As a regulator, the NPA ensures that the industry remains efficient, profitable, fair, and at the same time, ensuring that consumers receive value for money.
