Fmr. HFC boss sworn in as Minister at Trinidad and Tobago

Immediate past CEO of HFC bank Ghana, Robert Le Hunte has been sworn in as Senator and Minister of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago.

Mr. Le Hunte was sworn in at the President’s House in the island nation’s capital – Port of Spain yesterday - Thursday August 24th, 2017.

He will in the new office in government be responsible for the administration of departments under the Ministry of Public Utilities in the country.

An Economics graduate from the University of Western Ontario, Canada, an MBA from the University of Manchester, UK and an MSc. in Accounting from the University of West Indies: Mr. Le Hunte  served as the Executive Director at HFC Bank Ghana Limited and Executive Director of Risk Management until April 2015.

He became the Managing Director of the bank (HFC Ghana) from April 2015 to August 21st, 2017.

Prior to his period at HFC, he was the former General Manager of Special Projects of Republic Bank Limited as well as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Barbados National Bank Inc.
