Chief Executive Officer of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), Alexander Mould is optimistic the (TEN) field which is to be inaugurated by President John Dramani Maham today will generate gas to boost the energy sector in the country.

Mr. Mould in an interview with GBC business news stated “the (TEN) fields will drive economic growth in Ghana through the marketing of our crude oil and boosting gas supply to generate power for industrial and domestic use.”

According to Alexander Mould, the commencement of the project shows GNPC’s commitment to the full utilization of Ghana’s oil and gas resources.

“The fact that the (TEN) project has come on stream, six years after the jubilee field goes a long way to demonstrate GNPC’s commitment for Ghana to benefit from its oil and gas resources’.

He also appreciated the collaboration of their (TEN) partners, support and guidance of the Petroleum Commission, the Ministry of Petroleum as well as other state actors.
