Forbes  Magazine has named American singer-songwriter, Taylor Swift as the world's highest-paid celebrity of 2016 with a whopping income of $170 million in the past year.

Her earnings mostly came from her 1989 World Tour, in which she smashed the Rolling Stones’ North American touring record, grossing $250 million. Other income sources included promotions for Diet Coke, Keds and Apple.
Real Madrid forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, who captained Portugal to their first major trophy by beating France in the Euro 2016 final on Sunday, and TV personality Dr. Phil round out the top five with $88 million apiece.
Kevin Hart came in at No. 6 with 87.5million while Lionel Messi comes in at No. 8 with $81.5m.
