Archbishop Duncan Williams says there could be a civil uprising in Africa after 2020 if the high rate of unemployment is not curbed.

In an interview with Joy FM, the founder of Action Chapel International said if African leaders do not solve the high rate of unemployment we could see another "Arab Spring".

"I am predicting by divine authority, after 2020 if things don't change there will be a civil uprising on the African continent just like the Arab Spring"

"There is a wind coming to Africa and if something is not done it will happen, you go to our washing bay and find at least 10 youth who have graduated from the university but have no better jobs and a time will come they can't take the situation anymore and will rise against the leaders"

"When you are dealing with people who have nothing to lose it is very dangerous," he added.

The unemployment rate keeps going up on the African continent as more youth are left jobless.

The Arab Spring was a series of anti-government protests, uprisings, and armed rebellions that spread across the Middle East in late 2010. It began in response to oppressive regimes and a low standard of living, beginning with protests in Tunisia.
