The separatist group in the Volta region Homeland Study Foundation has stated that the President of the National House of Chiefs and the Paramount Chief of the Asogli State Togbe Afede lacks knowledge about the history of the people he is ruling.
Togbe Afede on Thursday asked Ghanaians to ignore the activities of the separatist group in saying the Volta region will forever remain part of Ghana.
But in a reaction to Togbe Afede's comments, a member of the separatist group, Charles Agbogli said Togbe Afede knows nothing about the history of the people he is ruling.

“If he saying that, meaning he does not know the history of the people he claims he has been ruling, if he knows he wouldn’t have said that, so if he is talking in his personal interest, we don’t think he knows what we mean, he does not understand the issue at all. If he does he would not have passed such a comment..I even saw the time he was born, he does not know it at all", he stated on Starr FM.
