The Center for World Universities Ranking (CWUR) has released its ranking for 2016.
The list has only ten universities from Africa ranked in the list of 1000 schools and there is no Ghanaian university among them.
The Center for World University Rankings (CWUR), started in 2012 with the modest aim of ranking the top 100 global universities, is the only global university ranking that measures the quality of education and training of students as well as the prestige of the faculty members and the quality of their research without relying on surveys and university data submissions.
Since 2014, the CWUR ranking expanded to list the top 1000 out of 25,000+ institutions of higher education worldwide, making it the largest academic ranking of global universities.
