Florence Obinim, wife of the Founder and General Overseer of the International God's Way Church (IGWC), Bishop Daniel Obinim has risen to his defence in the recent controversy over his beating of  two teenage congregants of his church for alleged fornication.

To people calling on her husband to apologise for shouting at her in public when she tried to intervene, Mrs Obinim said it was no big deal because even in the Bible, there are instances where spouses who tried to intervene during the work of God suffered consequences.
