The President has condemned the activities of pro-NPP vigilante group, Delta Force, saying their activities gave the party and government wrong publicity.

Addressing the Press in Accra today, after six months in office, Nana Akufo-Addo said he expected party members to be law abiding and allow right procedures to be implemented. He also urged the law enforcement agencies to deal with persons that break the law without fear or favor..

According to the President, the people involved have shown remorse and the legal process is working. He hopes sympathizers of the NPP and Ghanaians in general will take lessons from the unfortunate incident.

He also recalled the gruesome murder of Maj. Maxwell Mahama, saying the punishment of the suspected criminals must be left in the hands of the police and the judiciary.

He admitted there are difficulties going into the job. He would nonetheless work hard to ensure that, the right things are done.

On Sanitation, the President announced that, Waste Transfer Stations will be constructed across the country to tackle the issue.

Provisions have been made to augment the sanitation infrastructure by constructing waste transfer stations at strategic locations to facilitate rapid collection to final deposit sites.

The initiative would begin in the Greater Accra Metropolitan Area and later implemented across the country to put an end to poor sanitation.

"As you know, we are committed to make Accra the cleanest City in Africa and the new Metropolitan Chief Executive of Accra, Mohammed Adjei Sowah is working assiduously to meet this commitment,"he stated.
