Ben Ephson's opinion polls which is suggesting a first round victory for President John Mahama in the December 7 elections, sampled views from forty constituencies across the country, the pollster has disclosed.

According to him, despite the relatively small sample size, he has no doubt that President Mahama will win because he was absolutely confident in his methodology, which he has been using for the past 16 years.

Mr Ephson released the results of the new poll Monday with President Mahama expected to win 52.4 percent of votes against New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo's 45.9 percent with the other parties claiming a meagre 1.7%.

Explaining  in an interview on Starr FM, he stated that considering that the survey has a two-percent error margin,  even if President Mahama does not win with the predicted percentage, he would still go ahead to claim a one touch victory.

“We have a 2% error margin and it means John Mahama will win the elections. So far we have used 40 constituencies to derive our percentage. This is the 5th prediction we have made so far....previous predictions came to pass,” he told hist, Nii Arday Clegg.
